Job Description Summary
Technical Manager responsible for facility operations, maintenance, and technical leadership to ensure the long‑term value and compliance of Cushman & Wakefield assets.
Responsibilities
- Facility Operations & Maintenance: conduct inspections; supervise maintenance programs; plan and manage construction projects; monitor vendor contracts; report progress.
- Financial & Compliance Management: budget planning, financial tracking, cost optimization; maintain documentation (OSHA, ADA, safety logs, contracts, vendor insurance); ensure regulatory compliance.
- Technical Leadership & Reporting: provide technical recommendations; support capital budgeting; liaise with teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Skills & Competencies
- Technical: knowledge of building systems, engineering, and property operations; proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to interpret blueprints, contracts, and facility management agreements.
- Soft Skills: strong leadership and problem‑solving ability; excellent communication and relationship management; ability to work in a fast‑paced environment; detail‑oriented with strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
- Qualifications: Associate’s degree in engineering, facilities management, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred); 3–5 years of experience in technical facility management, preferably in commercial or industrial real‑estate; English at B2 level.
