We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead (C#/.NET) to join our client’s team on a 6-9 month contract. In this role, you will be a technical expert with a strong focus on software design and engineering, leading a team of technology-oriented individuals in delivering efficient and elegant software and IT solutions.
As a Technical Lead, you will guide your team in designing high-quality software and effectively communicate your designs to both technical and business audiences. You will work closely with software and QA engineers, ensuring successful project delivery and maintaining high standards of performance and quality.
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in financial applications and be delivery-focused. You will actively evaluate new products and technologies to build solutions that streamline business operations. Your work will involve the Trading View REST API, which provides the platform with full trading functionality, including authentication, trading, pricing, and much more.

responsibilities :
Act as the principal developer and technological mentor for a scrum team of talented developers.
Lead the initial software design for development tasks facing the team.
Set a strong example by creating robust, clean, and efficient solutions using expert software design knowledge and programming skills.
Propose design improvements and recommend the adoption of new technologies or services.
Oversee key components of the software, ensuring high standards in performance, testability, CD/hosting, and maintainability.
Provide design diagrams and documentation for the software being developed.
Maintain a high level of conduct, ethical standards, and values, ensuring ongoing personal competence through continuous training.
Lead scrum meetings and drive task allocation within the team.
Report the teams progress, successes, and challenges to line/division managers.
This role is tech-focused and does not include direct people management, performance reviews, or salary considerations.

6+ years of experience with C# using .NET Framework and .NET Core.
Strong programming and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Design.
Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), CI/CD, and maintainability of applications.
Experience in distributed systems development and event-driven architectures.
Experience in RESTful API development and modern architectures (.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC & Web API).
Knowledge of modern architectures like CQRS and Event Sourcing.
Familiarity with containerization, with experience in Kubernetes or similar container orchestration tools.
Understanding of messaging architecture, with experience in message brokers preferred.
Proficiency with MS Visual Studio and Git.
Understanding of relational databases and experience with MS SQL Server/TSQL.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to organize and lead team members.
Experience in Automated Testing – TDD/BDD practices.
Ability to prioritize and work independently.
Passion for technology and a willingness to learn and self-improve.
Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
