We are seeking a highly experienced Senior / Staff Software Engineer to take on a technical leadership role for an external contractor team maintaining a complex Identity Security product.

This position acts as the primary technical interface between engineering teams and management, ensuring system stability, scalability, and high operational quality.

The role combines architectural responsibility with hands-on problem solving, including direct involvement in customer-facing infrastructure and data-related incidents. You will operate across the full technology stack, bridging strategic technical decisions with day-to-day execution in a production-critical environment.

This is a hybrid role based in Warsaw or Kraków, requiring 2–3 days per week on-site.

Technical Lead C# and Node.js

Your responsibilities

• Act as the technical lead and main escalation point for the contractor engineering team
• Serve as a communication bridge between management and engineers, translating business priorities into technical execution
• Ensure operational stability and performance of a complex, multi-layer Identity Security platform
• Lead analysis and resolution of infrastructure, data, and customer-impacting issues
• Guide architectural decisions while remaining hands-on with critical components of the system
• Maintain and improve code quality, system resilience, and deployment processes
• Support contractors with technical direction, best practices, and system knowledge

Our requirements

• Minimum 7 years of professional software engineering experience, with strong expertise in C# and/or Node.js
• Proven experience in technical leadership, including leading senior engineers or external contractor/vendor teams
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in complex, distributed, multi-layer architectures
• Ability to operate effectively at both architectural and implementation levels
• Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to clearly explain technical topics to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience in Cyber Security or Identity Management (Active Directory / Entra ID) is a significant advantage
