Your new role
As a Technical Lead reporting to the Manager/Product Owner, you will play a crucial role in partnering with the business to develop a strategic roadmap for delivering technology solutions. Your contributions will be vital to company transformation and growth by building high-performing IT teams and continuously enhancing the platforms that support our business.
Key Responsibilities:
- You will oversee the end-to-end implementation process.
- You will align product goals with the Product Owner.
- You will report to the Domain Engineer and functionally to Business Heads.
- You will manage risks and dependencies within the product.
- You will be accountable for the execution teams within the product, including:
- Software delivery
- Financial management
- Execution controls (monitoring & reporting)
- Production
What you'll need to succeed
Experience:
- Over 7 years of relevant experience in IT, including analyzing technical processes, identifying improvement opportunities, designing technological solutions, and managing developer teams.
- Proven experience in managing IT developer teams is essential.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
- A Master’s degree in finance, business, or data science is a plus.
- Fluent English (C2 level desirable) is required, and fluency in Spanish or Polish is an asset.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Experience in managing developers and implementing strategies for code reviews and pull requests.
- Knowledge of modern software architecture (e.g., public cloud, hybrid cloud, microservice architecture).
- Hands-on experience with big data streaming technologies (Kafka streams, Java, MongoDB, Elastic).
- Experience in managing large, high-performance teams.
- Experience working with Agile and DevOps delivery teams.
- Ability to organize teams and prioritize tasks within sprints.
- Technical knowledge to support the team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with business and product teams to set the vision for data needs and translate it into end-to-end execution.
- Experience in managing and reporting incidents in production environments.
- Knowledge of investment banking products and wholesale banking is a plus.
