Position Overview:

The Technical Delivery Manager (ODC) will be responsible for managing and coordinating the daily operations of the Offshore Development Center (ODC) in Warsaw. This role combines managerial responsibilities with hands-on R&D tasks, focusing on Android development and testing. The ideal candidate will dedicate 50% of their time to R&D activities (e.g., Android software development and Android testing development) and 50% to management tasks, ensuring project delivery quality and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

R&D Responsibilities:

1. Contribute to Android software development or testing, including tasks related to Android application or driver development.
2. Support troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing Android systems to meet project requirements.
3. Collaborate closely with the team to ensure technical alignment and high-quality outcomes.

Team Management:

1. Lead and manage R&D resources, providing guidance and support to ensure team members’ skill development.
2. Set clear work objectives and performance metrics for team members, offering constructive feedback to facilitate their growth.

Project Delivery Management:

1. Project Execution: Plan, execute, and monitor project progress, ensuring goals and milestones are achieved.
2. Quality Assurance: Ensure deliverables meet quality standards, implementing best practices and process improvements.
3. Risk Management: Identify potential delivery risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure smooth project execution.

Business Relationship:

1. Client Communication: Maintain effective communication with clients, understand their needs, and provide solutions to ensure client satisfaction.

Requirements:

Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

Work Experience:

1. At least 5 years of experience in Android software development and project management experience, with a minimum of 3 years in ODC management.
2. Hands-on experience in Android development or testing is essential.

Skills:

1. Proficiency in Android software development or testing (e.g., drivers, applications, protocols).
2. Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile development methodologies.
3. Excellent project management skills; proficiency in tools like JIRA or Trello.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Language Proficiency:

1. Fluent in spoken and written English.
2. Proficiency in Chinese or familiarity with Chinese business culture is highly preferred.
