Job Description
This is a Technical Customer Consultant role where you will support the implementation and ongoing operation of key accounts.
Day‑to‑day Responsibilities
- Technically and operationally support internal customer care teams and external partners during the implementation phase of key accounts.
- Act as a key expert for external needs analysis and provide solutions to customers and partners.
- Provide training to clients on platform features and Ingenico ePayments products.
- Provide technical and operational support to key account merchants post‑implementation or when issues cannot be resolved through normal support.
- Investigate ongoing or new incoming incidents as assigned by your manager.
- Ensure continuity of merchant business by responding quickly and taking correct measures.
Activities Breakdown
- Analysis of current legacy integration and payment methods scope.
- Functional mapping with the new Direct API.
- Proactively identify eligible merchants to migrate to the new Direct Integration Layer and contact them.
- Coach merchants or integrators on the differences between legacy and Direct features.
- Configure (when required) hosted checkout with 3DS, fraud, payment methods.
- Validate end‑to‑end merchant testing.
Who We Are Looking For
- Preferably 1-2 years of experience in a similar position or environment.
- Excellent knowledge of English, Dutch, and/or French.
- Very good relational and communication skills (written & spoken).
- Critical mindset and problem‑solving ability.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Close interaction with other departments (Sales, Marketing, Development, etc.).
- Strong relationship‑building and interpersonal skills.
- Thoughtful understanding of client needs.
- Commitment to excellent customer service.
- Good general computer culture (“geek” profile).
- Knowledge of API, REST architecture, Postman or equivalent tool.
- Ability to read/write JSON.
- Front‑end knowledge (HTML/CSS/JS).
- Basic SQL knowledge (selects and joins in SSMS).
- Experience with logging tools (Kibana, Splunk, or equivalent).
