This person will support the Unified Namespace (UNS) Platform program by gathering requirements, analyzing OT system and data, and designing standardized data models and integration patterns between OT systems, the UNS platform, and cloud systems. The role applies knowledge of manufacturing processes to ensure that factory data is correctly contextualized, semantically meaningful, and event-driven, enabling scalable analytics, reporting, and digital manufacturing use cases.
responsibilities :
Gather and document requirements from OT, IT, and cloud stakeholders
Analyze level-2 (SCADA, PLC), level-3 (MES, LES/LIMS) and level-4 (ERP) data structures and events
Design canonical data models, event schemas, and UNS topic hierarchies
Define OT ⟷ UNS ⟷ Cloud integration patterns
Support alignment with UNS standards, naming conventions, and governance rules
Produce clear documentation (requirements, models, diagrams)
Support architects and delivery teams during implementation
Act as a technical bridge between automation, IT, architecture, security and data teams

Knowledge of ISA-95 / ISA-88
Experience with and solid understanding of OT systems (PLC, SCADA, Historians)
Knowledge of Unified Namespace (UNS) principles
Event-driven architecture and pub/sub messaging (MQTT, Kafka)
Data modeling and schema design (JSON, JSONSchema, Avro, AsyncAPI)
Cloud integration fundamentals (Azure preferred)
Foundational understanding of communication protocols used for integration in the IT/OT space (OPC-UA, BACNet, REST, WebService)
Experience with relational databases, understanding of timeseries databases
Strong analytical, documentation, communication and presentation skills
Self-driven and persistent, able to independently push work forward
Very good command of English (C1–C2) and Polish
