YOUR ROLE

We are looking for a Business Analyst who combines deep technical understanding with strong business insight to shape and deliver impactful solutions. You will gather and analyze requirements, validate data flows, support application testing, and collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and QA teams.

Essential technical skills include APIs, data transformation, SQL, and proficiency with Postman and SoapUI. Knowledge of Agile methodologies, tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps is highly desirable.

YOUR TASKS

• Requirements Gathering & Documentation – elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
• API Testing & Validation (Postman) – test RESTful APIs, validate responses, and understand API frameworks and authentication flows.
• SQL & Data Analysis – write basic SQL queries to validate backend data and support business logic.
• Data Mapping & Transformation – define transformation rules and document logic for ETL or integration processes.
• Application Testing & Defect Reporting – conduct functional testing, identify bugs, and communicate findings.
• Technical Communication – translate requirements into technical specifications and explain system functionality.
• Stakeholder Engagement – collaborate with business users, developers, and QA teams to ensure alignment.

YOUR PROFILE

• 5+ years as a Business Analyst in the insurance industry (P&C, life, health, or reinsurance).
• Strong knowledge of insurance products, policy management, claims, and underwriting processes.
• Expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe).
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence for backlog management and documentation.
• Ability to read and understand API documentation (Postman) and work with developers on integrations.
• Excellent communication skills in English (German or French is a plus).
• Strong analytical mindset and experience working in global, cross‑functional teams.
