Overview

Are you a well‑organized German and English speaker? Do you have a background in finance and want to develop in a corporate environment? Do you enjoy working with data in Excel files and making sure everything’s correct? If yes, then read on – we are looking for you! As a Technical Accounting Analyst you’ll become part of our Commercial Risk department and facilitate finance activities by matching incoming payments to outstanding invoices and entering them into the correct account.

What The Day Will Look Like

The responsibilities include back‑office operations such as:

• Checking information received from insurers against the information held in the system records
• Performing calculations using information available in the system
• Performing tasks such as: analysing booking differences, analysing brokerage and commission differences, clarifying premium amounts, reconciling, and collecting
• Working closely with local teams to ensure work is completed in a timely manner
• Cooperating closely with the team coordinator and the team to meet all service level agreements
• Suggesting and implementing changes to tools and documentation to support effective service delivery
• Transitioning a processing scope into the newly built team located in Krakow/Poland
• Developing, tracking, and reporting metrics/performance on various business situations and projects

Skills And Experience That Will Lead To Success

• German and English – at least B2 level
• Experience in AP/AR/finance area
• Strong Excel skills and the ability to analyse data and verify its accuracy
• Good communication skills with a client focus
• Ability to prioritise tasks according to volume
• Flexibility and openness to new challenges and tasks
• Willingness to improve and automate work
• Experience in Finance or Accounting is a strong asset
