Description

An AWS Technical Account Manager is a trusted advisor and cloud operations architect for Enterprise Support customers. They craft and execute strategies to drive adoption of AWS services—including EC2, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, IoT, and others. They partner with startups and large enterprises to advise on architecture, support strategy, project and launch planning, and ongoing operational issues.

  • Create solutions, provide technical guidance and advocate for customers.
  • Ensure AWS environments remain healthy while reducing cost and complexity.
  • Develop trusting relationships with customers, understanding business needs and technical challenges.
  • Drive technical discussions on incidents, trade‑offs, and risk management.
  • Consult with a range of partners from developers to C‑suite executives.
  • Collaborate with Solutions Architects, Business Developers, Professional Services Consultants, and Sales Account Managers.
  • Proactively find opportunities for customers to gain additional value from AWS.
  • Provide detailed reviews of service disruptions, monthly & quarterly metrics, and pre‑launch planning.
  • Solve problems across customers as they migrate workloads to the cloud.
  • Uplift customer capabilities by running workshops, immersion days, etc.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience troubleshooting operational parameters for three (3) of compute/storage/networking/CDN/databases/DevOps/big data & analytics/security/applications development in a distributed systems environment.
  • Experience in technical engineering.
  • Fluency in Russian language.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings.
  • Experience in internal enterprise or external customer‑facing environment as a technical lead.
