Sii, a leading provider of IT and engineering services in Poland, is seeking an experienced Tech Lead with strong expertise in Java and Angular to join a dynamic banking project. As a Tech Lead, you will play a key role in shaping the technical direction of the project, driving innovation, and ensuring the successful delivery of both new features and system maintenance. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a project in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

Your tasks

• Lead the technical design and architecture of the banking platform, ensuring scalable, maintainable, and high-performance solutions
• Mentor and guide a team of developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment
• Oversee the implementation of new features and ensure smooth integration with existing systems
• Conduct code reviews, provide feedback, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners and QA, to define requirements and deliver quality solutions
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, optimizing the system’s performance
• Ensure that technical debt is managed, and the codebase evolves in a sustainable manner

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Java development with expertise in Spring framework
• Proven experience in leading technical teams, guiding project execution, and managing deliverables
• Strong experience with Angular and TypeScript in front-end development
• Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices
• Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage teams and stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to address complex technical challenges
• Experience with agile methodologies and a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle
• Ability to travel to Wroclaw 1–2 times monthly for team meetings and project alignment
• Good command of English
• Fluent Polish required
• Residing in Poland required
