We are looking for a Tech Lead to oversee and accelerate delivery within the Experience Team. This team is responsible for translating UX/UI designs into embedded functionality using Rust and Flutter. The Tech Lead will provide technical direction, coordinate development efforts, and ensure alignment with product goals and timelines.
The ideal candidate is either:
- A deep Rust expert with leadership experience, or
- A strong technical leader with solid Rust knowledge and proven project management capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of four engineers (Rust and Flutter) in delivering embedded UX/UI functionality.
- Drive sprint planning, backlog grooming, and delivery tracking.
- Provide architectural guidance and hands‑on support in Rust‑based development.
- Facilitate collaboration between UX designers, embedded engineers, and product stakeholders.
- Identify and resolve blockers to maintain development velocity.
- Support onboarding, mentoring, and team cohesion.
Technical Expertise:
- Strong experience in Rust development, ideally in embedded or systems programming.
- Familiarity with Linux‑based microservices, device communication, and hardware‑software integration.
- Understanding of UX/UI workflows and how they interface with embedded systems.
- Experience working with Flutter teams or cross‑platform UI frameworks is a plus.
Leadership & PM Skills:
- Proven experience leading technical teams in agile environments.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage priorities, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.
- Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in IoT, smart appliances, or consumer electronics.
- Experience working in hybrid teams across locations.
- Familiarity with project budgeting and stakeholder reporting.
Work Arrangement:
- Primary location: Poland with frequent travels to Stockholm.
- Open to hybrid arrangements (2-3 days on biweekly travels to Stockholm
