About your future role

You are a servant leader with strong people leadership and an employee development mindset. In your role, you will be working with a variety of managerial tasks. As a member of the Nordic Special Services management team, you will take part in planning and executing activities important for the whole area and for your team.

Some of your responsibilities include:

  • Management of the team and your direct team members.
  • Setting direction, targets, and prioritization for the team and its individual team members.
  • Removing obstacles to achieve targets and supporting the team in interactions with internal & external stakeholders.
  • Ensuring the right staffing levels, placement of resources, and tasks within the overall team.
  • Driving training for the personnel and finding the best fit for the team and individuals.
  • Planning and organizing daily work tasks in the team, managing through “weekly” governance meetings and empowerment.
  • Competence development & coaching personnel.
  • Driving performance & improvements in own responsibility area and creating a performance management culture for the team.
  • Stakeholder management & networking.
  • Ensuring team contributes to other functions, Special Services Nordic, and supports overall Nordic strategy & business goals.
  • Participating in Special Services Nordic Management team meetings, supporting other Managers, and contributing positively to reach targets successfully.

Your qualifications include:

  • Good people leadership skills; leadership experience is a must.
  • Positive mindset and ability to inspire and lead the team.
  • Customer service skills with a commercial mindset.
  • Analytical skills and ability to create insights; flair with numbers and MS Excel.
  • Process and organization skills.
  • Good communication skills in English (fluent written and verbal); ability to work with people from different cultural and language backgrounds.
  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in business or similar.
  • Preferably work experience from the financial sector or payment industry.
  • Experience from dispute handling (major international card schemes) will be positive.
  • Fluent in one of the Nordic languages (Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, or Finnish) and English (speaking and writing). Additional language is a plus.
