We are now looking for IT Service Desk Team Leader with a strong leadership background to join Kemira IT Services in Gdańsk, Poland. Kemira’s Business Service Center in Gdańsk, Poland is a multifunction service center with customer service, procurement, finance and administration, and IT operations. It is a dynamic and multicultural center that values openness, cooperation, and partnership. This is a hybrid role.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Solid line management for EMEA Service Desk team.
  • Ensuring effective communication between the team and stakeholders.
  • Coordinating knowledge sharing process.
  • Coordinating and implementing continual service improvement items.
  • Developing EMEA Service Desk team through:
    • Target setting, follow-up, and yearly evaluation.
    • Active support for team members.
    • Employee personal development.
  • Coordinating the Incident Management process, ensuring timely resolution of incidents in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Participating in the daily work of the EMEA Service Desk team.

What you’ll bring to the team:

  • Experience in guiding and mentoring teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong technical background in: Microsoft Windows, ServiceNow, Microsoft Azure.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Proven ability to understand and address end user concerns.
  • Ability to work in a virtual team within a global organization.
