We are partnering with a well‑established international financial institution to recruit a Team Leader: Corporate Actions, Operations for their growing Warsaw office. Their Warsaw hub plays a strategic role in supporting global functions and fosters a culture of collaboration, integrity, and continuous development.

As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for managing a team of Corporate Actions specialists and overseeing the end‑to‑end processing of corporate action events across multiple markets. This role offers the opportunity to lead a high‑performing team, engage with senior stakeholders, and contribute to the smooth execution of complex financial operations.

Key responsibilities

  • Leading and developing a team of Corporate Actions professionals, providing coaching and performance feedback.
  • Managing daily workflows to ensure accurate and timely processing of mandatory and voluntary corporate action events (e.g., dividends, mergers, rights issues).
  • Overseeing event validation, reconciliation, and settlement for Banking clients and Inter‑Dealer Brokerage activities.
  • Maintaining strong operational controls and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Acting as the primary contact for stakeholders across Operations, Front Office, Risk, and Compliance.
  • Liaising with custodians, agents, and market infrastructures to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth event execution.

Ideal candidate

  • A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in Corporate Actions Operations within financial services.
  • Proven leadership experience with a track record of managing teams and driving performance.
  • Strong understanding of the trade lifecycle, settlement processes, and financial instruments.
  • Familiarity with European regulatory frameworks (e.g., FCA, MiFID II).
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
  • Fluency in English is essential; Polish language skills are a plus.
