The Accounts Payable Team Lead is responsible for the day-to-day management, oversight and escalation of accounts payable while performing operational tasks. Balancing a Team Lead role requires a hands-on approach, acting both as leader and an active participant in daily operations.

Your new role

  • Handle accounts payable tasks like invoice processing, payments, employee expenses, and reconciliation.
  • Manage daily operations within the Accounts Payable team.
  • Lead month-end and year-end closing for Accounts Payable.
  • Provide support for internal and external audits.
  • Collaborate with payroll agencies for salary payments and postings.
  • Review reports on costs, pending approvals, and failed payments.
  • Address accounts payable queries and collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Supervise and guide Accounts Payable Associates, providing training.
  • SME Role - optimize tools and processes
  • Work with Accounts Receivable, Finance Management, and Stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and financial regulations, conducting regular audits.

What youll need to succeed

  • Educational background: Bachelors degree in finance or accounting.
  • Experience: +5 years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable, Accounting and/or Finance Operations.
  • Fluent English, additional Scandinavian language or German as an added value.
  • Multinational, multi-site operations experience is beneficial.
  • Personal Competences: collaboration, adaptability, team player, reliability, problem-solver, initiative, continuous improvement.
