Together with our client, we are looking for an experienced Team Leader for the Accounts Payable department!

If you have strong team management skills and finance and accounting is your passion, we invite you to apply. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing payment processes, ensuring that invoices are settled on time and in accordance with company policy, and supporting the team with daily challenges.

What we expect

• A minimum of 5 years experience in the field of accounting.
• Proven track record in leading a team, with strong capabilities in task prioritization and delegation.
• Hands-on experience with managing purchase invoices and accounts payable tasks, including in-depth knowledge of at least one set of accounting standards and regulations.
• Fluent in English.
• Strong understanding of business process development and improvement.
• Exceptional skills in communication and presentation.
• A proactive and positive attitude with excellent interpersonal abilities.
• Familiarity with various systems would be considered a valuable asset.

Your tasks

• Lead a team of AP accountants to deliver purchase invoices and services related to AP accounts payable and co-create a comprehensive source-to-pay process for efficiency and effectiveness
• Ensure implementation and development of objectives and plans related to operations
• Support the development of AP processes, tools and templates
• Purchase invoice and AP tasks performed as part of comprehensive processes with an understanding of how these tasks relate to other tasks within the comprehensive process.
• Process planning productivity and efficiency development with an end-to-end approach with an understanding of how these changes affect the end-to-end process.
• Forming and maintaining an effective, motivated team that delivers results (KPIs, internal customer satisfaction).
• Develop process efficiency and effectiveness in a proactive manner and in line with global guidelines
