Team Lead (Project and People Management)

As a Team Lead at Helmes, you’ll create value for our partners with world-class software development teams.

Responsibilities:

• Leading a software development team and projects
• Inspiring and motivating your team while supporting their growth and development
• Ensuring your team has the resources to succeed – like tech, competencies & capacity
• Monitoring your team’s performance and continuously seeking improvements
• Managing finances, including monthly billing and reporting
• Serving as the main communication point – keeping everyone informed and building relationships with clients, vendors, and partners
• Building strong partnerships with clients and exploring future opportunities
• Supporting the business unit leader in sales, drafting offers, and related tasks
• Collaborating on developing and improving Helmes’ tools, processes, and best practices

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience managing software development projects within the last 3 years
• Experience as a Resource and Product Manager or Technical Delivery Manager in a specific business domain (preferred)
• Strong leadership and project management skills, inspiring teams
• Good influencing skills – ability to inspire, lead, persuade, and negotiate
• Responsibility-taking and commitment-following
• Experience managing finances and budgets at the unit level
• Professional approach with a strong sense of ownership
• Excellent communication skills in English and Russian, both spoken and written; German skills are a plus
• Proactive attitude and entrepreneurial mindset
