The Role

The Accounting Team Lead is responsible for:

• People management & quality review
• Managing a team of accountants
• Coordinating the daily operations of the Accounting team to ensure continuous service
• Quality review of the team’s deliverables
• Coaching, inspiring, and deploying the right competencies to strengthen motivation and financial skills

Operational activities

• Processing expenses, vendor invoices, and payments
• Managing purchase order matching and invoice approval processes
• Managing client and vendor master data
• Processing sales invoices, payments, and overdue follow-ups
• Preparing payment batches and uploading to bank portal
• Posting bank statements
• Preparing VAT declarations
• Leading monthly closing cycles with the accounting team
• Managing fixed assets
• Preparing account reconciliations
• Ensuring correct payroll reconciliation
• Handling general finance administration
• Preparing monthly management reports
