• We’re looking for a hands-on Team Lead to guide a backend team working on the Home Connect IoT platform — a mature and widely adopted solution that connects smart home appliances across the globe. This role combines technical leadership with active coding responsibilities. You’ll work side by side with the system architect, shaping technical direction, defining priorities, and driving high-quality engineering practices. The position involves close international collaboration within a distributed, cross-functional environment

• Lead a team of up to 5 backend developers, fostering ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement
• Work closely with the system architect to drive platform evolution and long-term technical decisions
• Actively contribute to development, architecture discussions, and code quality initiatives
• Define and plan technical work in collaboration with stakeholders and team members
• Promote engineering excellence: clean code, peer reviews, testing, observability, and CI/CD
• Provide mentoring, support, and guidance to team members

• 5+ years of backend development experience with strong hands-on skills in Node.js and TypeScript
• Previous experience in leading or technically owning delivery within a development team
• Deep expertise in AWS, with focus on: Load Balancer (ALB/NLB) management, AWS WAF setup and operations, Security and scalability in cloud-native applications
• Production experience with MongoDB
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and complex backend integrations
• Proficiency with Git, Docker, and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
• Excellent communication skills in English — written and spoken — to work effectively in international teams
• Proactive, structured, and able to drive initiatives independently
