We are looking for an experienced Senior Tax Technology Specialist to join our Finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing tax engines and ensuring indirect tax compliance, with a specific focus on Vertex O Series. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement and optimize tax processes while ensuring that global tax regulations are met. Extensive knowledge of SAP systems and various tax domains such as VAT, GST, and Corporate Tax is essential to succeed in this position.

Your tasks

• Implement and maintain the Vertex O Series with a focus on the global indirect tax solution
• Configure and maintain tax rules, rates, and jurisdictions in Vertex to ensure compliance and accurate tax calculations
• Manage VendorRecon Reporting & the Accelerator solution for precise tax calculations and reporting
• Lead mapping changes to tax matrices and conduct end-to-end testing to prevent regression impacts across various jurisdictions
• Oversee tax projects involving multiple domains, including VAT, GST, HST, and Corporate Tax

Requirements:

• Extensive experience with Vertex O Series and familiarity with SAP tax-related solutions
• Strong understanding of global tax regimes, including Sales & Use, VAT, GST, HST, and Corporate Tax
• Excellent analytical skills and high attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and proven project management experience
• Familiarity with regression testing processes and collaborating with support teams to resolve product issues
