Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide direction and oversight on all aspects of international tax accounting and tax provision processes, including quarterly and annual reporting (10Q and 10K).
  2. Develop and deliver US GAAP income tax provision training to affiliate teams, ensuring smooth execution of income tax provisions across regions.
  3. Manage the coordination of global foreign affiliate income tax compliance processes, focusing on seamless quarterly and annual provision completion.
  4. Lead research regarding appropriate ASC 740 reporting positions and tax compliance requirements across affiliates.
  5. Oversee tax-related matters for M&A transactions, ensuring appropriate financial reporting and compliance with regulations.
  6. Support SOX compliance, providing documentation and deliverables for tax-related processes.
  7. Manage relationships with external auditors and service providers, ensuring efficient performance.
  8. Provide support and leadership on cross-functional global and regional tax projects.
  9. Assist in cash tax payment analysis and related documentation requirements.
  10. Lead initiatives addressing uncertain tax positions (UTPs) and managing annual return to provision true-ups (RTPs).

Minimum Requirements:

  1. 10+ years of combined experience in tax accounting, tax compliance, and tax planning, preferably with a mix of Public Accounting and multinational corporate tax roles.
  2. Extensive experience with US GAAP income tax accounting under ASC 740.
  3. Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  4. Strong tax planning and research skills, with the ability to analyze complex tax issues and provide clear recommendations.
  5. Proven supervisory experience with the ability to lead and collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
  6. Fluency in English, with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional Preferences:

  1. Previous experience managing the tax functions of a multinational corporation in the EMEA region.
  2. Demonstrated experience in training and developing cross-regional teams in income tax processes and compliance.
  3. Strong organizational and project management skills to support global and regional cross-functional initiatives.
