Our Client, an international company from the Banking sector, is entering the Polish market and building their local finance team.

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Tax & Reporting Specialist to ensure tax and regulatory compliance, support audits, and enhance reporting efficiency. A great opportunity to join a greenfield operation and help shape local tax processes from day one.

Job Description

• Support preparation, review, and timely submission of tax filings and regulatory reports in line with local tax laws, Polish GAAP, and IFRS.
• Ensure compliance with tax legislation, regulations, and internal policies; proactively identify risks and recommend solutions.
• Maintain accurate tax records and documentation; assist in internal and external audits.
• Prepare and verify documentation for tax calculations, reporting, and disclosures.
• Liaise with external tax advisors, auditors, and authorities to resolve tax matters.
• Support improvements in tax reporting processes, focusing on automation and efficiency.

The Successful Applicant

• Minimum 2 years experience in tax compliance, accounting, or financial reporting within banking, financial services, or corporate sectors.
• Good knowledge of Polish tax laws, including VAT, CIT, and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Proficient in Excel, with experience in data validation, reporting templates, and document management.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy in tax filings and documentation.
• Able to work independently and in a team, managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Fluent in Polish and English, with clear written and verbal communication for internal and external coordination.
