For our client we are looking for a Tax and Payroll SME who will be responsible for the German market.
If you have experience in global mobility and would like to develop into a Subject Matter Expert, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
What we expect
- Bachelors degree (finance or law)
- Experience in a similar role in either the Big 4 and / or inhouse experience in a Global Mobility team is preferred
- Experience of global coordination of a Germanled global mobility programme).
- Strong analytical, attention to detail and organisational skills
- Fluent in Germanand English
- The ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.

Your tasks
- Steer globaltaxandpayrollcompliance (in relation to internationally mobile employees and work with globaltaxauthorities and the appointedtaxservice provider
- Manage payments of globaltaxreturn liabilities and collection oftaxrefunds due
- Application of thetaxpolicies for internationally mobile employees
- Seek opportunities for simplicity and enhance existing processes
- Support implementation, communication, and coordination of policy changes
- Support the business and employees throughout their compliance journey, answeringtax queries
- Proactively manage vendor costs and identify improvements through vendor relationships and use of technology; evaluate overall vendor performance
