We are looking for a skilled Tax Accountant to ensure full statutory compliance and oversee day-to-day accounting operations for our EU entities in Poland, Latvia, and the UK. This role is key in maintaining accurate taxation, financial reporting, payroll accounting, and strong internal controls across the business.
Responsibilities
- Manage VAT, direct tax, and transfer pricing compliance across EU entities.
- Oversee tax accounting, monthly closings, and financial statement preparation.
- Handle payroll accounting, G&A expenses, and bookkeeping activities.
- Lead audits, statutory filings (e.g., Intrastat, plastic tax), and communication with authorities.
- Manage banking, treasury, and payment operations in SAP.
Requirements & Key Competencies
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
- 3-7 years of experience in direct and indirect taxation, ideally in a tax/audit firm.
- Strong knowledge of Polish & EU VAT and direct tax regulations; understanding of transfer pricing documentation requirements.
- Proven experience in accounting, bookkeeping, and monthly closing.
- Hands‑on experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
- Advanced Excel and financial reporting proficiency.
