Your Role
As a Tariff Classification Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring BOSCH Group’s compliance with international trade regulations. Your expertise will help us navigate classification of goods for tariff/customs purposes.
Responsibilities
- Perform tariff classification of BOSCH product portfolio, including raw and spare parts, according to national tariff schemes.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and international stakeholders to gather necessary technical information and documentation for accurate classification.
- Work with a global team and Foreign Trade functions across multiple countries; fluent communication in English is expected.
- Keep up with evolving foreign trade regulations, particularly tariff classification in many jurisdictions.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in trade compliance or product engineering.
- Strong understanding and proven experience in tariff classification.
- Ability to interpret technical documents and drawings.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Advanced English proficiency (German is a plus).
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, GTS or MIC) is a bonus.
- Great communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
