Could you be the full-time T&C Engineering Manager in Chorzów we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your testing expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to Adam (Site Test & Commissioning Director in Chorzów) and work alongside passionate, motivated, and dedicated teammates.
Youll be responsible for managing and developing the team of Testing Methods Engineers preparing W2W & dielectric and Routine Test process in the dynamically growing Testing and Commissioning department. Day-to-day, you’ll ensure interface and maintain a perfect working relationship with the engineering project team, Site Industrial, Warranty Implementation team, Site Logistics, Industrial Support to Warranty teams, Quality, and Site Validation team.
You’ll specifically manage the development and supply of test procedures, facilities, and tools for RS sites and depots while continuously optimizing T&C processes.
We’ll look to you for:
- Clear and exhaustive understanding of the Customer Acceptance Criteria
- Managing the development and supply of test procedures, facilities, and tools for RS Test & Commissioning activities
- Ensuring that test procedures and tools configuration are managed during the project lifecycle
- Identifying all requirements and risks early in the project lifecycle and ensuring proper mitigation plans are put in place
- Participating in tenders for providing relevant data/calculations
- Defining the Standard Operating Procedures with reference to time and monitoring deviations
- Continuously optimizing Standard Operating Procedures
- Implementing REX (Return of Experience) from the Test & Commissioning phase of the project
- Ensuring that industrialization (APSYS - Alstom Production System and TAKT time) of testing procedures is defined and systematically followed
- Maintaining a perfect working relationship with engineering project teams and other support teams
- Supporting the PrTCM in the implementation and execution of the full customer acceptance plan
- Implementing and deploying methods, tools, and best practices pointed out at the group level
- Managing and optimizing technical activities to achieve QCD targets and results commitments
- Ensuring T&C procedures comply with EHS Policy and Site EHS Management System
- Participating in EHS activities on the shop floor
- Managing and forecasting the test engineering workload and adapting capacity accordingly
- Managing competencies through identification of critical competencies and ensuring right trainings are delivered
- Communicating and cascading information to the site test engineering team
- Managing conflicts and disputes within the department
- Exploring and sharing new solutions to improve T&C activities in partnership with Central T&C

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Testing & Commissioning of Electrical, Control, onboard communications & network systems within the process industry, railways, or factory automation
- Good knowledge in IT tools and smart devices
- Familiarity with high-risk activities in association with Electrical work and EHS (Environment, Health, Safety) requirements
- Good technical knowledge in electrical, electronic, mechanical, and networks domains
- Familiarity with Lean approach for Industrialization
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to foster communication between multiple stakeholders
- Ability for negotiation, problem-solving, and efficient decision-making in a complex environment
- Ability to work across sites/functions in a multi-cultural environment
- Team spirit and good communication skills
