As part of the continued growth and development of our internal Recruitment Service Center team in the MDPI Poland office, we are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our organization. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic, international environment and play a key part in supporting our expanding operations.
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is at the forefront of our recruitment efforts, working closely with department heads to attract, engage, and onboard the best talent across all areas of our organization, both locally and across multiple regions, directly reporting to the Recruitment Operations Lead. This position plays a vital role in matching the right candidates to the right roles.
This is a fully in-office role based in Kraków.
Core Responsibilities:
- Supporting Hiring Managers based in multiple locations throughout the entire hiring process, including defining job descriptions and salary benchmarks.
- Ensuring the publication of job advertisements on relevant job boards and reviewing and selecting applications according to job requirements.
- Leading professional job interviews for a variety of positions across multiple departments.
- Actively proposing new ways to attract candidates in multiple locations, including active sourcing for specialized functions.
- Collaborating with local HR teams and the Global Recruitment team (Switzerland, Serbia, Romania, Spain, UK, Canada).
- Organizing, coordinating, and representing the company at job fairs to attract top talent and contributing to recruitment-related projects.
- Collaborating with HQ and global offices to align recruitment strategies, share best practices, design templates, and support international talent acquisition initiatives.
- Ensuring compliance with organizational policies and standards, including GDPR and data protection, in all processes.
- Preparing, posting, and promoting job openings across various channels locally and globally.
- Performing ad hoc tasks as required, aligned with the employee’s capabilities and experience, supporting the team and business needs beyond the standard scope of the role.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Humanities, Law, Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of recruitment experience (in-house or internal preferred), including 2+ years of active sourcing and experience in IT recruitment.
- Strong command of English (C1 level or higher).
- Demonstrated sense of ownership, proactive approach, and goal-oriented mindset.
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
- Willingness to go the extra mile in networking and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Good understanding of HR processes and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
- Advanced experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
