Design, implement, and maintain software packages for Kubernetes clusters.
Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters, particularly AKS, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
Experience with Rancher for AKS cluster management is highly desirable.
Writing deployment manifest and packages for Kubernetes based on helm charts.
Automate and enhance security checks and controls within the deployment processes.
Integrate security practices into the CI/CD pipelines and throughout the software development lifecycle, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Automate deployments via CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar.
Monitor and respond to security threats and vulnerabilities, implementing solutions proactively.
Document processes, configurations, and best practices, ensuring clarity and ease of knowledge transfer within the team.
Conduct regular security audits of infrastructure, identifying potential vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.
Build VM images using Hashicorp - Packer.
requirements-expected :
5+ years of experience in a DevOps/DevSecOps role, with a strong focus on security.
Expertise in IaC tools, specifically Terraform and Terragrunt, with proven experience in building and maintaining complex infrastructure.
Proficient in Azure cloud services, including networking, security groups, IAM, and storage solutions.
In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes, particularly AKS, including deployment, scaling, monitoring, and security best practices.
Experience with Rancher for managing Kubernetes clusters is a significant advantage.
Strong understanding of security practices across the software development lifecycle, including vulnerability management, patch management, and incident response.
Experience with Gitops model and tools such as ArgoCD or FluxCD.
Proven experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar.
Experience with logging and monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Azure Monitor.
Familiarity with security standards and the ability to implement controls to meet these standards.
Expert in scripting languages likes Linux-Shell scripting and Python.
