We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our International Team and help us create software for one of the biggest and most important projects in the Deutsche Telekom group. Being part of our team, you will have an impact on our 30 million customers, who will use our product to request Fiber network installations for their homes and track our progress.

Your Role as a Business Analyst

  1. Define and validate business requirements on different levels (e.g., Initiatives, Epics, User Stories). Focus on customer requirements, business value creation, and ensuring the backlog is understood and development-ready from the team’s perspective.
  2. Decompose business requirements into development-ready User Stories with functional requirements, focusing on the solution created in the Gigabit project.
  3. Collaborate with Product Management and System Engineering to align User Stories’ designs.
  4. Evaluate business models or requirements and integrate them into technology solutions as well as technological implementation opportunities (business/technology bridge).
  5. Actively support your team with business process know-how.
  6. Understand business and technical objectives of a project and work closely with the Product Owner, system designers, and DevOps team.
  7. At least 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst in international projects.
  8. Knowledge and ability to visualize analysis into readable diagrams using UML notation (Activity Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, Use Cases).
  9. Experience with tools like Enterprise Architect, Confluence, and Jira. Knowledge of using tools like Swagger is a plus.
  10. Ability to learn new and complex project environments.
  11. Knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL).
  12. Knowledge and ability to design using BPMN notation.
  13. English knowledge (at least B2+). Gigabit is an international project; English is the common language for both spoken collaboration and written requirements.

Nice to have:

  1. Experience and ability to design business applications and conduct system and cross-systems analysis.
  2. Experience with analyzing microservices and basic understanding of microservice architecture.
  3. Knowledge of the telecom sector.
