Using state-of-the-art tools to create installation packages, virtualized applications, and system images. Preparing for large-scale software deployments on Microsoft Windows. Analysis and planning of software migrations. Automation and optimization of daily routines, software installations and configurations. Development and maintenance of configuration management and system administration tools/scripts. Our requirements Bachelor degree in computer science, information technology or other related is therefore preferred. Good English or German, to understand and write technical documentation and communicate with other colleagues We appreciate if you are effective team-player, to solve cross boundary challenges and be a reliable team member. Basic understanding of Windows systems, mainly Client but also Server. Good understanding of consumer- features of the OS is required, and knowledge of servers and database is a plus. We expect that a good candidate can write and understand short PowerShell scripts. A perfect candidate has also additional knowledge of configuration and administration of Microsoft Windows operating systems, networking, IT infrastructure and hardware. Knowledge of any of the following is considered a big plus: MSI (Windows Installer), App-V, MSIX, Process Explorer, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Hyper-V. Some more for an extra plus are Active Directory, DNS configuration, PKI and WSUS. Are any of the terms and products above unfamiliar?
