Systems and Environment Supervisor

Your responsibilities

• Coordinate and communicate with environmental authorities to ensure compliance with the plant's environmental legal requirements and permit obligations.
• Carry out environment risk assessments and support the plant areas updating it
• Prepare and attend internal and external audits. Perform root cause analysis to deviations and support all the departments on this task, identifying corrective actions and ensuring adequate follow-up and effectiveness evaluation
• Participate and represent the company during administrative inspections
• Create and ensure fulfilment of drills plan (Food safety and Environment)
• Verify the operationalization of the environment emergency plan at the plant
• Implement, maintain, monitor, follow up, control and improve the systems adopted by BA and implemented in the Plant
• Support the plant´s departments, to ensure the compliance and the alignment with the company standards and legal Environmental requirements
• Work under the Corporate coordination and contribute to the general performance of BA Group giving inputs and informing about best practices in place in the plant
• Ensure a “culture” of continuous improvement, detecting and helping to correct problems and studying opportunities to achieve the best performance of the Management systems implemented or to implement at the plant
• Establish and ensure the fulfilment of monitoring plans (Food safety and Environment)
• Investigate and analyses environment emergency situations
• Ensure operational waste, water and air emissions management activities
• Assist food safety team to complete the respective activities

Our requirements

• Fluency in English and Polish enabling communication in an international environment - mandatory
• University degree related to environment, quality or similar
• Knowledge of management systems: preferably ISO 14001, ISO 9001, and ISO 2200
• Driving License and availability to travel (possibility of business trips)
• Willing to work in industrial environment
• Good collaborating /negotiation skills
• English CV is the must
