About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Systems Analyst to support the development of industry-leading software products. You will work within an international Scrum team and act as the key interface between Product, Engineering, UX/UI, and Business stakeholders. The role requires strong analytical capabilities and the ability to translate complex business needs into structured system specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement data-driven solutions
Analyze and optimize business processes and product functionalities
Elicit, structure, and validate business requirements
Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications and system models (UML/BPMN)
Define acceptance criteria and support QA processes
Conduct profitability and risk analysis based on KPIs and business metrics
Required Qualifications
At least 8 years of commercial experience in IT and 5 years in a similar position
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience in requirements engineering and functional specification design
Experience working with stakeholders across Product, Engineering, and Architecture
Practical knowledge of BPMN and/or UML
Background in software development or IT solution design
Working knowledge of SQL
University degree in a technical field
Strong communication skills
Professional proficiency in English
Nice to Have
German language skills
Experience in the insurance domain Experience working in Scrum environments
Familiarity with GitLab, Jira, Confluence, Aha!, Slack, and Google Workspace
