Responsibilities

  1. Create and update technical specifications (e.g. Funktions-LAH, System-LAH) under consideration of adjacent function modules, control units, control concepts, components- and vehicle-interfaces.
  2. Preparation of a function specific list of statutory provisions and guidelines, including research and analysis of legal texts and specifications.
  3. Analysis of data packages (e.g. BAP).
  4. Definition and Application of signals in OEM IT application.
  5. Function modelling (incl. Updates, reviews and preparation for approval).
  6. Conceptualize and design of the system, according to the project milestones.
  7. Define and coordinate wiring contents (component, central/zone control units, function control units, HMI).
  8. Preparation and updates of system architectural documents and variant overviews.
  9. Define requirements for the system circuit diagram design (initial creation and changes).
  10. Preparation of application data, e.g. ZDCs (application data container files).
  11. Management of the component development process, regarding the OEM process standards.
  12. Create and update diagnosis specifications (e.g. Bauteil-LAH, Diagnosedatentabellen).
  13. Coordination of requirements with linked scopes, e.g. control concepts, component and vehicle interfaces.
  14. Prepare technical quotation documents for potential suppliers.
  15. Prepare documentations and presentations, regarding technical solutions, overviews, development activities, etc.
  16. Preparation of approval recommendations incl. collecting and creation of necessary documentations for P-Release, B-Release, BMG, K-Release.
Requirements

  1. 5+ years of experience with embedded software development.
  2. Experience in creating and updating specifications (e.g. Funktions-LAH, System-LAH).
  3. Experience in analysing data packages (e.g. BAP).
  4. Experience with automotive bus systems (Ethernet, CAN, LIN, FlexRay) and debuggers (e.g. iSYSTEM, Lauterbach).
  5. Experience in preparation of application data, e.g. ZDCs.
  6. Deep knowledge of test frameworks used in embedded context – unit, integration and function testing.
  7. Knowledge of configuration management tools (e.g. MKS/Integrity, SVN, Git).
  8. Practical experience with Vector tools (e.g. CANoe, CANape).
  9. Knowledge of architecture tools (e.g. Enterprise Architect, Rational Rhapsody).
  10. Experience with requirements management tools (e.g. DOORS) and ALM (e.g. CodeBeamer).
  11. Understanding of requirements of release stages, P-Release, B-Release, BMG, K-Release.
  12. Ability to communicate fluently in English.
  13. Proven experience in working on Seat control or Climate control or Ambient lighting control projects - Nice to have.
  14. German language - Nice to have.
