Your responsibilities
- Analyze business and technical requirements related to IT infrastructure for German law enforcement agencies
- Design and develop IT system architecture tailored to the specific needs of public security units
- Provide consultations for stakeholders on process optimization, technology, and application implementation
- Coordinate system deployments in a complex infrastructure environment
- Design and implement digitalization and mobile technology solutions within IT infrastructure
- Ensure compliance with data security requirements and legal regulations
- Collaborate with technical teams, developers, system administrators, and law enforcement representatives
- Prepare technical and process documentation
Our requirements
- Higher education in IT, systems engineering, project management, or related fields
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, particularly in implementing IT systems for the public sector
- Experience in law enforcement projects (e.g., Police, Military, Border Guard) is essential
- Strong expertise in IT security systems, including encryption protocols, identity management, and ISO/IEC 27001 compliance
- Knowledge of GDPR and German data protection laws
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman Framework
- Ability to collaborate with various departments, including technical and operational teams
- Fluent German (C1 level)
- Willingness to visit law enforcement units in Germany and work in a hybrid model
Optional
- Knowledge of IT systems in law enforcement agencies (preferred)
- Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, PRINCE2, ITIL) would be a plus
