As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing our Linux-based servers and systems to ensure the smooth operation of our infrastructure. You will work closely with other IT professionals to implement security measures, troubleshoot issues, and support the development of new projects.

Setting up servers and other systems.
Install, configure, and maintain Ubuntu Linux servers, ensuring high availability and performance.
Monitor system performance, network traffic, and server resources using monitoring tools to detect and resolve potential issues.
Manage backup solutions and perform regular data backups, as well as restore systems in case of failures.
Diagnose and resolve software issues on Linux servers, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.
Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, procedures, and best practices.
Work closely with development, network, and security teams to support ongoing projects and ensure seamless integration and operation of systems.
Manage the installation of software updates and patches to ensure that all systems are up-to-date and secure.
Provide technical support and guidance to users and other team members on Linux-related issues.
requirements-expected :
3+ years of experience as a System Administrator, with a focus on Linux (Ubuntu).
Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting Ubuntu Linux systems.
Knowledge of common Internet services (HTTP(S), DNS, SMTP/IMAP, etc.)
Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus).
Experience with ticket system TOPdesk and Belvis competence is desirable
Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
Incident analysis and problem solving.
Communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Very good written and spoken German and English.
