The IT company Andersen invites an experienced System Administrator (Windows) to join its team for working with a company from the UK. 

The customer is a UK-based next-generation integrated global payment ecosystem with the clear mission to change how money is moved around the world. The company currently supports cross-network operability globally across Mastercard, Visa, China UnionPay and local ACH and payment schemes, providing over 40 payment methods for online SMEs. 

The project aims to leverage the customer’s cutting-edge technology and expertise to provide individuals and businesses with fast, secure, and cost-effective payment services across borders. 

Must-haves: 

  • Experience as a System Administrator for 3+ years. 
  • Proficiency in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting Windows Server operating systems.  
  • Experience with server roles (AD, DNS, NPS, RDS, CA, IIS, File Server, Print Server, WSUS). 
  • Understanding of Postgres, Oracle. 
  • Experience with Zabbix or Prometheus. 
  • Experience in MS SQL administration (Backup, cluster configuration and maintenance). 
  • Experience with Packer, Ansible, Terraform and scripting languages, particularly PowerShell. 
  • Experience in managing and maintaining Active Directory services, including group policies, and domain controllers. 
  • Extensive experience with e-mail services (Google Workspace). 
  • Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN configurations. 
  • Familiarity with security best practices, including firewall management, antivirus solutions, and intrusion detection systems. 
  • Proficiency in maintaining backup and disaster recovery solutions (Veeam B&R). 
  • Knowledge of server hardware components and the ability to perform hardware upgrades, repairs, and maintenance as needed. 
  • Skills to monitor system performance using monitoring tools. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and documentation skills. 
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance standards, such as GDPR or PCI DSS. 
  • Experience with GitLab. 
  • Experience with VMware. 
  • Experience with AWS, GCP. 
  • Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.
