The IT company Andersen invites an experienced System Administrator to join its team for working with a company from the UK.
The customer is a UK-based next-generation integrated global payment ecosystem with the clear mission to change how money is moved around the world. The company currently supports cross-network operability globally across Mastercard, Visa, China UnionPay and local ACH and payment schemes, providing over 40 payment methods for online SMEs.
The project aims to leverage the customers cutting-edge technology and expertise to provide individuals and businesses with fast, secure, and cost-effective payment services across borders.
Responsibilities
- Setting up, configuring, and maintaining Linux servers.
- Implementing security measures and managing user accounts.
- Suggesting resource utilization based on monitoring results.
- Developing backup and disaster recovery plans.
- Writing scripts to automate routine tasks and streamline administration.
- Ensuring compliance with industry-specific regulations.
- Managing Windows-based servers and networks.
- Leveraging automation tools to streamline tasks.
- Implementing and monitoring security protocols.
- Developing robust backup and disaster recovery solutions.
Requirements
- Experience as a System Administrator for 3+ years.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python).
- Knowledge of server hardening techniques and containerization technologies.
- Experience with virtualization technologies and monitoring tools.
- Proficiency in managing Windows Server environments.
- Strong knowledge of server roles and Active Directory.
- Experience with automation tools and scripting languages (PowerShell).
- Level of English – from Intermediate and above.
