• As a System Administrator at Avanquest, you will play a critical role in maintaining and managing our IT infrastructure. This includes ensuring the availability, performance, and security of our servers and networks. You will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of system software and hardware, as well as providing technical support to end-users. If you have a passion for optimizing IT systems and ensuring seamless operations, this role is for you.
• The role is full-time, based in Krakow (hybrid mode), or fully remote from other locations within Poland.

• Assist in system installation and configuration;
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues;
• Support user account management and permissions;
• Maintain documentation of systems and processes.
• Manage server configurations and backups;
• Implement security protocols and update systems regularly;
• Support IT projects and assist with system upgrades;
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems;
• Provide support to IT systems, including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all the client/server/storage/network devices, etc.;
• Optimize system performance and resource usage.

• 3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with strong hands-on expertise in network architecture, server management and cloud infrastructure (Azure/Google).
• Basic programming and scripting skills.
• Experience in FW administration (OPNsense, Pfsense, Mikrotik, IPtables, NGFW).
• Experience in administration of VMware, Proxmox.
• Strong technical background in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and VLANs, HTTP, SSL/TLS, SSH, clustering/load balancing, AD/LDAP integration.
