SW Architect



Your responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Oracle APEX applications within a corporate environment, leveraging strong SQL and PL/SQL skills and integrating with Oracle and/or MSSQL databases.
  • Design, build, and implement data warehouse solutions, including optimization of physical designs, ETL processes, and query performance.
  • Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, leading large-scale requirements and design sessions with business process owners.
  • Act as Problem Coordinator or Major Incident Manager in case of critical service incidents.
  • Initiate and lead architecture and process optimization initiatives, including the introduction of new technical solutions.

Our requirements

  • At least 6 years of Apex applications development experience
  • Strong SQL and PL/SQL (Structured Query Language) and data extraction skills
  • Good command of Oracle DB and/or MSSQL Server
  • Basic command of UNIX
  • Being able to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
  • Experience conducting large scale requirements and design sessions with business process owners
  • Communicates effectively with service Leaders (i.e.: Delivery Managers, Delivery Service Managers, Support Lead, Lead Developer)
  • Taking the role of Problem Coordinator, Major Incident Manager if such problems occur in the Service
  • Ability to actively initiate and lead architecture and processes optimization and introducing new solutions
  • 5+ years of experience designing, building and implementing data warehouse
  • Experience optimizing physical designs for effective ETL and maximum query performance
  • Experience with DB/ETL best practices
  • Experience working in Agile Development Methodologies
  • Expertise knowledge of ITIL standards and SCRUM processes (ability to behave as a ScrumMaster)
  • Creating high quality documentation
  • Able to work independently with Business stakeholders
  • High accountability and proactive approach toward supported applications and Business
  • Proficient English communication skills (B2/C1 level English)
  • Strong problem-solving orientation
  • Strong team and customer service focus
  • Experience in application of various data integration patterns
  • Experience in working in regulated domain (pharma, banking, auto-motive) will be an asset
  • CET/CEST Business Hours timezone availability.
