The opportunity

EY’s global Climate Change and Sustainability Services (CCaSS) enable companies to survive and grow in an environment where both financial and non-financial performance is critical. Our multidisciplinary teams help companies understand the risks and opportunities arising from climate change and sustainability and our solutions are spread across this spectrum. Our solutions include Sustainability Reporting, Sustainability Assurance, Climate Change & Decarbonization, Sustainability Advisory, EHS and Managed Services.

As a Staff, youll be required to collaborate with colleagues across projects and geographies. The role will require you to be involved in varied types of projects while performing research and inquiry for emerging issues, including regulations, industry practices, and new technologies, as and when required for delivering a project and/or constantly upskilling at an individual level. This position is based in Warsaw or Wroclaw.

Your key responsibilities

• Contribute to the execution of ESG Reporting and Assurance projects under the guidance of a Senior or a Manager and ensure quality output
• Collaborate with GDS and onshore engagement teams to collect, analyze, and validate data related to environmental impact, social performance, and governance practices
• Collaborate with team members
• Comply with all applicable professional standards, EY policies and regulatory requirements
• Maintain knowledge of global sustainability regulations and awareness of market trends and offerings

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Graduate or post-graduate degree in Environmental sciences, Sustainability Management, Economics, Law & Administration and other related disciplines from reputed Universities
• Full-working proficiency in English, and German or French; knowledge of any other European language will be a plus
• Understanding of sustainability-related terminology and basic understanding of TCFD, GRI, SASB, CDP, CSRD, double materiality, etc. standards is a plus.
• Certifications in climate change, environment, and sustainability-related areas from GRI, SASB, GARP etc. are a plus

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Good MS Excel (or any other data management tools/technologies) and MS PowerPoint skills
• Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and technical writing skills
