Responsibilities

• Actively design sustainability‑related activities and obligations for procurement
• Support and qualification of suppliers within the framework of the MAN Sustainability Rating
• Identification of critical issues and development of strategies for risk minimization in the supply chain
• Derivation and implementation of goals, key performance indicators, and measures for sustainability in supplier relationships
• Preparation of analyses, presentations, and data‑based evaluations for communication to management
• Central contact and driver of sustainability topics such as decarbonization, responsible raw material procurement and compliance with the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act in procurement
• Close collaboration with the purchasing organizations within the VW Group and within TRATON

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in business law, economics, (Industrial) engineering, business administration, sustainability management, environmental management, or a comparable degree program
• At least 4 years of relevant professional experience in sustainability management in the automotive sector, as well as regulatory reporting and supply chain due diligence, purchasing experience preferred
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Ability and experience to work in interdisciplinary teams
• Quick comprehension, assertiveness, a structured approach, and a self‑reliant approach
• High degree of initiative and independent work
