• Knowledge of supply chain logistics including different restocking as well as a good understanding of capacity planning.
• A sense for detail: every data sheet must be accurate and understandable while you handle a large amount of varied work – like emails, phone calls, chats with people stopping by for a talk.
• You can artfully deal with people, using empathy and good communication within your micro-team and also in cooperation with suppliers and other stakeholders in the IKEA supply chain.
• Analytical skills that are necessary for working within complex IT systems, numerically demanding project orders, Excel documents.

IKEA was founded in 1943 by Ingvar Kamprad. Our first restaurant opened in 1959 - just one year after the first IKEA store in Älmhult. Today, we operate IKEA restaurants in more than 460 stores across more than 50 markets. In the Category Area Food, we lead the global purchasing agenda, material direction, responsible sourcing, and food safety and quality compliance agenda for the entire food range in IKEA. With over 170 colleagues located globally across Europe, North America, Asia, and other regions, we work closely with our supplier partners.

You will be a part of a Plant based Category which is part of Category Area Food, which works alongside both internal and external partners to offer the food served at all IKEA Restaurants, Bistros, and Swedish Food Markets.
