Placing purchase orders to suppliers for which he is responsible, respecting negotiated deadlines and budgets
Monitor deliveries, and negotiate shorter delivery times if needed
If necessary, contact the receiving department to accelerate the receiving of products needed urgently
Monitor and analyze suppliers' service level (SSL) and the causes of backorders
Review SSL results for Group Suppliers every month and year, and look for trends or areas that need improvement
Understand how suppliers operate
Work with Group Suppliers, Merchandising and Subsidiaries to put in place plans that fix problems and improve logistics performance (continuous improvement)
Analyze inventory problems
Monitor stock levels regularly to avoid shortages or overstocks
Optimize inventory levels, with the right Material Requirement Planning (MRP) parameters, taking into account product typologies and life cycles
Report any anomalies in sales forecasts to the dedicated team, so that models can be adapted
Inform customer service of delivery times (products out of stock or large quantities orders)
Ensure compliance with the company's purchasing, pricing and operating policies
Contribute daily to the maintenance of ISO standards at Lyreco
Promote Lyreco's sustainable development practices
Our requirements
English at B2 level or higher
University degree (min. 2 years) in Supply Chain, Business or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain, customer service, or sales administration
Solid skills in MS Excel; knowledge of SAP or APS systems is a plus
Good understanding of inventory management, supply planning and supply chain processes
