The plant in Chrzanów produces front and rear car lights using advanced metallization, assembly, and plastic injection technologies, including multicomponent and multi-color injections. It also features a fully equipped measurement laboratory with a unique photometric testing tunnel. Due to growth, Valeo Lighting Systems is opening a new Development Center dedicated to developing and manufacturing lighting systems for passenger cars.
Currently, for Valeo Lighting Systems in Chrzanów, we are recruiting a Supply Chain Scheduler:
Responsibilities include:
- Managing inventory levels of raw materials and component families.
- Setting and maintaining proper inventory levels.
- Leading actions to reduce inventory within his/her component families.
- Measuring Supplier Service Rate (SSR) for each supplier and proposing improvement plans.
- Monitoring and reporting daily inventory levels.
Ensuring material availability to meet customer demand:
- Planning raw material and component requirements based on Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning, as well as Master Production Schedule.
- Anticipating impacts with suppliers and production.
- Sending weekly forecasts to suppliers.
- Monitoring material arrivals and ensuring timely shipments.
- Communicating accurate information to suppliers and adapting communication methods as needed.
Identifying and resolving blocking points:
- Participating in logistics and purchasing meetings.
- Supporting supply chain organization improvements like Pull flow, Kanban, EDI, Milk run.
- Defining inbound transportation plans.
- Supporting inventory accuracy initiatives.
- Escalating crises and defining priorities.
- Maintaining supplier relationships and training backups.
Qualifications:
- Engineering degree or equivalent.
- 1-2 years experience in Supply Chain Management.
- Experience in the automotive industry and SAP is advantageous.
- Excellent English skills.
- Team spirit and ability to handle stress.
