We are hiring a: Supply Chain Analyst

Lędziny (Hybrid)

About the role:

Inventory is the single biggest lever that connects our customer promise to plant execution. In this central, advisory role you’ll partner directly with Supply Chain Managers and Master Planners at our sites to standardize how we manage inventory, translate SIOP decisions into site-ready actions, and deliver measurable improvements in customer service and working capital. You’ll be the trusted central analyst — bringing clarity from data, shaping enterprise inventory policy, and enabling sites to implement best-practice stock management that reduces cost and risk across Watlow’s footprint.

What You’ll Do:

  • Site advisory & enablement: Act as the central point of expertise for Supply Chain Managers and Master Planners — reviewing site inventory positions, diagnosing root causes of issues, and coaching site teams on execution and improvements.
  • Standards & playbooks: Help design and roll out standardized inventory policies, stocking agreements and replenishment rules so sites operate consistently and predictably across the enterprise.
  • Inventory analysis & recommendations: Produce high-quality analysis (safety stock, reorder points, days‑on‑hand, DOH targets, critical item risk) and deliver pragmatic recommendations sites can implement.
  • Policy implementation support: Translate central SIOP and purchasing policies into actionable site‑level procedures, tools and KPI frameworks; support local implementation and change management.
  • Purchasing & supplier coordination: Analyze PO execution, lead‑time variability and supplier risks; advise sites and sourcing on expedites, long‑lead strategies and stocking agreements that improve availability and reduce expediting costs.
  • SIOP enablement: Provide inputs to the SIOP process by reconciling site‑level inventory realities with consensus demand, bringing forward constraints and recommending allocation or capacity adjustments.
  • KPI governance & continuous improvement: Monitor and report inventory KPI (turns, forecast accuracy, PDP/PDR, fill rate, cost‑to‑serve) and partner with sites to run local optimization projects and sustain improvements.

The impact You’ll make:

You’ll enable site teams to operate more predictably and efficiently through better policies, standards and analytics. By standardizing stock management and helping sites implement optimized stocking strategies, you’ll raise on‑time delivery, reduce expedites and working capital, and improve the reliability of the SIOP plan across plants.

What You´ll need to succeed?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or a related field.
  • 3–5 years’ experience in supply chain, planning or purchasing with proven inventory analysis experience and site‑facing collaboration.
  • Expert at turning data into actionable recommendations; proficient with forecasting and ERP tools (experience with Oracle Demand Planning a plus).
  • Strong communicator and coach — able to influence Supply Chain Managers and Master Planners and guide change at site level.
  • Comfortable with policy design and hands‑on support implement standards and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Fluent in English.

Nice to have:

  • APICS CPIM/CSCP or similar, Lean/CI or Six Sigma experience, multi‑site/global supply chain exposure.

Why Join Watlow´s team:

If you’re passionate about using analysis and a collaborative, standards‑driven approach to turn inventory into a competitive advantage — helping sites perform better while freeing working capital — we’d love to hear from you.
