Joining us at our office in Poznan Poland – you become part of our Group Safety, Health & Environment department. Here 18 colleagues work across the entire ROCKWOOL organization to ensure a safe and healthy work environment and minimal impact on the external environment at our offices and factories across the globe.

We support the organization within our field and ensure the right standards and guidelines are in place, each of us working within different areas of expertise while still collaborating closely as a team.

What you will be doing:

As a Supplier ESG Compliance Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in our sustainability efforts by managing supplier questionnaires and audits, ensuring a robust follow-up process, and embedding sustainability practices within our supply chain. You will serve as a key reference for Category Managers, Sustainable Sourcing Specialist and other stakeholders regarding supplier-related queries and compliance.

More specifically, your main tasks include:

  1. Preparing and managing supplier questionnaires and gathering feedback from suppliers
  2. Ensuring internal follow-up and embedding of answers into general supplier evaluation
  3. Developing criteria for supplier audits to guide our sustainable sourcing practices
  4. Collaborating with Group Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) and Procurement (GSP) on audit planning, execution, and reporting
  5. Performing both desktop and physical audits of suppliers
  6. Creating detailed audit reports
  7. Providing support and follow-ups on supplier questionnaires and audits

Although your new desk will be located in the Nowy Rynek building in central Poznań, Poland, you will often travel primarily in Europe but could also be around North America and Asia – mostly to meet with colleagues and suppliers and to supervise the implementation of your projects. You can expect to travel 30-50 days per year, with trips varying from just a couple of days to a few weeks at a time. Know, however, that you will rarely be alone.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate will possess a relevant degree and have a minimum of 2 years of practical experience in sustainability and auditing within the supply chain. Familiarity with the creation and management of supplier questionnaires and understanding of procurement processes will be beneficial.

Competences we are looking for also include:

  1. Fluent in English communication, both in writing and verbally
  2. Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
  3. Experience with using digital supplier questionnaire solutions
  4. Proficient user of MS Office and proven IT skills
  5. Any additional sustainability, IT, or procurement training or certification will be considered an advantage
