Description
As a Specialist in Supplier Declaration Management, you will be responsible for processing incoming inquiries (via ticket, email, phone) and internal queries, as well as correction requirements, within defined service levels. Through independent work, excellent organizational skills, proactivity, and process-oriented thinking, you will ensure efficient processing. You will also proactively ensure effective deputization for your area of responsibility and take on representation tasks as needed. This role requires strong communication skills in both German and English.
Your Responsibilities
- You will maintain a high and stable level of quality and quantity in obtaining, reviewing, and recording supplier declarations regarding EU and third-country manufacturing shares.
- You will engage in close communication with suppliers to clarify the EU value chain.
- You will ensure adherence to defined deadlines for priorities (Prios), LOPs (List of Parts), differing origins, and dunning processes.
- You will appropriately prioritize and promptly process work items, including: requirements (e.g., Prios, LOPs), dunning and escalation cases, inquiries regarding differing origin of goods from incoming goods, processing of changes and revocations, email processing, maintenance of supplier master data, recording of supplier declarations within the defined service level, creation of customer supplier declarations (KLEs)
- You will provide service-oriented support to suppliers and specialist departments with reasonable effort.
As a primary technical contact for Supplier Declaration Management clerks, you will also
- Prioritize daily business according to the requirements for the clerks in Supplier Declaration Management.
- Ensure work quality in accordance with legal and internal requirements.
- Derive optimization measures based on quality evaluations and received escalation cases.
- Identify and record process disruptions, communicate them to affected areas, and contribute to clarification/exchange with developers in AUT.
- Support and clarify complex business cases within Supplier Declaration Management.
- Provide necessary support during escalations from specialist departments or suppliers.
- Communicate changes to Supplier Declaration Management clerks and, if necessary, to affected colleagues/departments.
Qualifications
Experience in finance area.
Experience working with customs and tariffs.
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
Good knowledge of German (minimum B2) and communicative English (B2).
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team player attitude.
