Superyacht Naval Architect

Your responsibilities

• Determine preliminary design assumptions based on project requirements, taking into account flag and code regulations.
• Develop general plans for yachts and mega-yachts, ensuring compliance with classification and administrative regulations, technical equipment specifications and stability requirements.
• Performing naval architecture and stability calculations.
• Modeling vessels in 3D software, with experience in optimizing hull designs preferred.
• Collaborating with designers to develop new yacht concepts, advising on regulations and nautical requirements.
• Provide guidance to team members from other specialties involved in the project.
• Attend client meetings to offer technical advice.
• Work closely with representatives of classification societies to obtain final approvals for yachts.

Our requirements

• Experience in a similar position, including the execution and coordination of classification documentation.
• Proficiency in CAD (knowledge of Rhino and Solidworks welcome).
• University degree in ocean engineering, ship and yacht construction
• Communicative knowledge of English (Polish language skills welcome).
• Creativity and strong spatial imagination.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks under time pressure.
• Strong communication skills and ability to argue logically in meetings with clients.
• Demonstrated commitment, meticulousness and patience, especially when working on projects for demanding clients.
