In this role you will be working closely with Team Leader and manage a team of a few financial professionals. You’ll take part in preparation and review of the NAV reporting package for Alternative Investment Funds. You will be a part of the unique team which has insight into end-to-end process and contributes to production of final deliverables for the clients. As a people manager, Supervisor will assist in motivating, giving instruction and monitoring of performance of colleagues in the team.**Some of the key responsibilities include:*** Preparation and/or review of monthly/quarterly/annual deliverables such as Net Asset Value reporting pack for selected alternative investment funds (scope of work includes mix or selected tasks).* Monitoring and reviewing fund’s activities in the accounting system.* Independent review of work prepared by team members ensuring accuracy, timeliness and completeness of deliverables.* Supporting team leader in communication with clients and external auditors on a regular basis.* Ensuring timely and accurate responses to any queries.* Developing and maintaining strong familiarity with accounting standards (i.e. Lux GAAP).* Coaching and developing team members, providing feedback via periodic meetings and engage in the performance appraisal process.* Promotion of positive team atmosphere through leadership, effective communication and professionalism.* Assisting in special projects to improve efficiency, quality and accuracy of work performed by the team.* Ensuring adherence to all established procedures, best practices and internal controls.**Desired Qualifications:*** At least 4 years of relevant experience in fund accounting and client servicing.* Primary degree in a finance or accounting related discipline and/or equivalent work experience is an asset.* A strong understanding of accounting practices and standards.* Highly organized, detail-orientated and self-motivated.* Pro-active, mature and able to work with respect to the previously agreed timeline.* Confident working with limited direct supervision.* Strong experience in mentoring and coaching staff.* Strong numerical and analytical skills.* Computer literate with strong Excel skills.* Fluency in English.**What We Offer:****Hybrid model 3 days per week in the office /2 days for a parent of a child up to 4 years old*** To encourage cultural awareness and philanthropy, BBHers have 1 Culture Celebration Day and 1 Community Service Day in addition to their paid standard vacation allowance* Contracts for an indefinite period, from day one* Private medical care* Life Insurance* Employee Assistance Program - offering independent and confidential counselling services for you and your family.
